Inès Mazou
EU–Africa trade relations, development finance and OHADA-compliant structuring across the francophone Sahel — the institutional layer beneath capital moving between Europe and West Africa.
Profile
Inès Mazou is A.R.M. Management's Partner for the Sahel region — advising on market entry, trade relations, and development-finance structuring across Niger and the wider francophone Sahel, where institutional access and financial-reporting discipline decide what capital can actually do.
Her grounding spans both sides of the Europe–Africa corridor. Since 2014 she has served as Attachée Commerciale at the Embassy of Niger in Brussels, covering trade relations with Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the European Commission — OEACP–EU trade cooperation, WTO liaison, and the promotion of foreign investment into Niger. Her diplomatic functions are entirely distinct from her role with A.R.M. Management, which she serves in a private capacity.
Before Brussels, her career ran through the institutions that finance and audit development in the Sahel: financial and administrative lead at the Swiss Consulate and Swiss Cooperation Bureau in Niamey, overseeing the financial management of Swiss-funded programmes; head of accounting at UGAN, Niger's general insurance union, leading a team of eight; and financial controller on a World Bank public-finance modernisation project, managing World Bank consultant contracts, procurement and reporting to the Ministry of Finance.
Inès holds a DECF in accounting and finance (ECOSEM Paris), is certified in business diplomacy by UNIDO, and holds an attestation in OHADA accounting standards and financial-statement preparation. She works in French and English.
