Dr. Naweed Mansoor
Leads ARM Management's Germany practice — advising international companies, investors and non-profit organisations on German market entry, public commercial law, EU regulatory compliance, and corporate sustainability & human rights due diligence.

Profile
Dr. Naweed Mansoor is ARM Management's Partner for Germany, where he leads the firm's legal and regulatory advisory capability in Europe's largest economy. A fully admitted German attorney (Rechtsanwalt) and member of the Frankfurt Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Frankfurt), he holds a doctorate in law from Goethe University Frankfurt alongside two specialist postgraduate degrees — the Magister of International Law (M.J.I., Justus Liebig University Giessen and the University of Bern) and an LL.M. in European and International Business Law (LL.M. Eur., Goethe University Frankfurt).
His practice sits at the intersection of public commercial law and international regulation — the terrain where cross-border transactions meet the German administrative state. Trained at a Magic Circle firm in Frankfurt and subsequently practising in the public commercial law group of a Big Four firm, Dr. Mansoor advises companies, investors and non-profit organisations navigating German regulatory approvals, administrative procedures and EU-law questions. During his studies he ranked among the top ten percent of his cohort, specialised in constitutional, public and international law, and represented Goethe University in an international investment arbitration moot at Uppsala University in Sweden, with an exchange semester at The College of New Jersey in the United States.
Dr. Mansoor brings a distinctive depth in business and human rights — one of the fastest-moving areas of European corporate regulation. As Senior Human Rights Advisor at a German (M)DAX-listed company, he worked at the heart of corporate sustainability compliance, including the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D) — expertise that positions ARM's clients ahead of supply-chain due diligence and ESG reporting obligations now cascading through European value chains. His doctoral research in international law, supervised at Goethe University's Institute of Public Law, was supported by a scholarship from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, carried him to research stays in Pakistan, India and the University of Cambridge, was published by Nomos, and carries a foreword by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Heiner Bielefeldt, former UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief.
Beyond his advisory work, Dr. Mansoor is a longstanding leader in the human rights field: since 2016 he has chaired a lawyers' association he co-founded in 2012, regularly convening and moderating legal symposia and panel events with several hundred participants, and lecturing as a guest speaker at NGOs and universities. He advises in German, English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, with Arabic-language advice available through an interpreter, and is based in Frankfurt.
